About Photonics Days Jena
The Photonics Days Jena is an international career and networking event for students and doctoral candidates in optics and photonics, aimed at connecting talented young professionals with attractive employers from the industry since 2019. Optics and photonics are essential for the future, contributing significantly to solutions for current and upcoming challenges.
Their potential, particularly in digitization, is highly regarded, and young scientists are crucial for driving innovations in this field. To support this, the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF, in collaboration with the Max Planck School of Photonics, organizes the annual Photonics Days Jena.
At this event, students and doctoral candidates can network face-to-face with representatives from renowned photonics organizations. Even before graduation, they can explore career opportunities, receive personal advice, and build valuable connections.
